The post about nothing

I've not typed up anything in almost two weeks. What's more sad is that I had no idea it had been that long. Time gets away from me way too often these days.

There are some personal things brewing, aside from my lovely, happily held, 9 to 5 job, that are keeping me from my dreams of playing with the kids, gardening, sewing and blogging all day. I'm not going into those here, but I do want to say that what has transpired has been eye opening. Unexpectedly eye opening, I should add, but not in a bad way, just adds confusion to the already complex situation at hand. That is enough of the ambiguous writing. All that to say that, well, I just haven't had a lot of time for my goals with this blog and my Etsy shop. Maybe one day I'll win the lotto and be free to do whatever I want during the day. Then again, I'd actually have to play to win!

This past Saturday I did something different and interesting. I was part of a focus group for a car company. I don’t know which, but I do know it is a domestic car company. It was interesting, fun and different. Plus, I got paid and had free snacks. What else could you ask for?

Okay, so this post is very Seinfeldesque, but I felt I had to write something. I was feeling guilty leaving my little blog out there all lonely. Hopefully I have some more projects done soon to show and post about. Ah, to dream.
